Will be leaving for Dubai and Cairo tonight and will be "stucked" there for the period of 25 Jun to 01 July! Boriiinnng!




That's more than a week away from home! Gonna miss everyone again.. :( Anyway, internet access is still possible for me over there so, I'll definitely be online! Don't think I'm stepping out of the hotel 'cos the weather is melting hot! NO WAY am I baking myself under the heat man!




Hence, in order to make sure I have enough food, I'm gonna bring stuffs there to cook! Kekekez.. yup you heard me loud and clear.. TO COOK! I've heard so much about this hotel that we're staying in whereby we get suites with kitchen (that comes with ful functional facilities!), living room, bedrooms and all!




Can't wait!!! *grinns*

24 Jun 09 ~ Celebration day! Y

It's MOMMA's Birthday today and proud to say, she's left a good 60 years worth of footprints behind now, as to date! :)




Most importantly, besides the fact that she's now a granny of TWO amazing wonderful boys, she's HAPPY, HEALTHY and BLISSFUL! She is definitely the BEST MUM we can ever have! :)




"Momma, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING! From all the hardships you've put in, for all the good things you've given us, for the wonders in life you've provided for us. We loooooooooooooove you so much!!!"




This year's celebration is somewhat different. Instead of the usual retaurants we always brought her to, this time round, we tried HI-TEA @ Goodwood Park hotel! Heh heh.. slightly more "sikih atas" (if that's how you spell it.. :p) ya?




I only have a few miserable pictures taken with my Pinky Bling 'cos she totally went into deep hibernation afterwards. The rest, all with my BIL, takened with his new toy, a CANON DSLR cah-meh-ra!




I so wanna get one too!!! The pictures came out so good that I'm telling you, ANYONE can be a professional photographer now lah! Really! LOLX!




Shall upload the pics once my BIL sends them to me and after I'm finished editing them. :)

After we sent them back home, rushed down to Tampines Mall's Crystal Jade Restaurant for dinner with my in-laws. We were like super late! But traffic's really slow and not to mention we came from Jurong! *faintz*




Again, not much pictures taken (actually only one..) 'cos my Pinky Bling still sleeping and the rest of the pictures with Tammy, my BB's sista. :( Hate having to blog without ALL the pictures intact! Boo!




The food tasted great and there were more but I just can't eat anymore 'cos I was feeling too stuffed! Lolx!

My tests and scans results were negative! ;)




So what's been causing the discomforts that I'm having in my body lately? I'm feeling reeeeeeeeeally puzzled right now.




Well, hopefully the specialist I was referred to can tell me why.




Till then, I'm so NOT gonna think about it and I'm so NOT gonna feel negative about it.




Whatever happens next, I know I have my family at my back. This will be my greatest source of motivation and moral.




How optimistic. Pray for me. ;)

Deal #1 ~ SlimSpa @ $99 for two boxes! One to block sugar and fat intakes, the other to detox. BB needed extra help like this. Lol. We both thought this was a good deal 'cos to buy individually, it would cost over $150. So we saved quite a lot! :)




Deal #2 ~ L'Oreal Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover selling 2 for $19.90 now! (U.P: $12.90/bottle) What a Great Buy! ;)

Wa seh! It's been more than a week since I last blogged! Well, that's because I was in London with my pretty batch girl, Cherlyn, doing lotsa shopping! Lol! Retail Therapy! The best way for me to lighten up my down spirits! :) It's been awhile since we last did a flight together and I must say, she's never changed a bit! Still as "crazy" as ever.. lol!




But the off side was, POUNDS went up!! And it hopped to an astonishing 2.44 now! KNS! Curse whoever boost London's economy!




Well, I know GBP rates had been higher before BUT I'm just so used to it being low at 2.05 or 2.03 lor! *poutz* This could possibly be my last London shopping before I return to my usual London trip routines, makan -> sleep -> internet. Urgh! How disappointing.. x_X




Anyway, still managed to take some pictures in the midst of our itchy-hands shopping. Laugh on the several times of "slapping each other's hands" to stop ourselves from further damages! Haha! :D

Day 1




Lunch at the hotel's restaurant named Bugis Street. Lol. Traces of Singapore can easily be found even as far as in London. I had Nasi Goreng. :)




This is US shopping at Topshop. She looked tall right? But actually 2cm from me only. Just that I'm wasn't standing very straight.




In the end we walked out with regrets without buying these tops that we tried on.





I got these from H&M instead. Heart the tights. :)



And Krispy Kreme donuts are still the best! Melts in the mouth lo! *slurps* :p



Got myself this from Boots Pharmacy. So kawaii desu shio! Smells great too! :)



For work.



Back in the room by 8pm. Shopping takes unhappy thoughts away from my mind. :)



But only for awhile... :(

Day 2


Woke up at 12.30pm. Meeting BG Cherlyn at 1.15pm.


Hee. Cam-whoring only takes seconds ya. :p






With my coat on, all set & ready to go! :)




Lunch at this HK restaurant famous for its Roast Duck Rice. Yummylicious lor! Singapore can't find such good duck rice for sure! :P



Comes with free "Soup of the Day" which happens to be Water Seacress with Pork Ribs soup.



Just look at the juiciness of the skin and the tenderness of the meat! Delicious!



Cherlyn's skin is damn good one la! No need make up one lor. So envy.. :P

Weekend shopping in London reminded me of New York somehow. Everywhere's packed with the curious crowd and changing room queues get longer and longer with each wait. Almost EVERYONE just had to go in holding the MAXIMUM number of pieces to try in order not to "lose out" on the time wasted on queuing. How Singaporean. Lolx.



I recognise the behaviour 'cos most of the shoppers came out throwing the same number of clothes they tried on earlier back at the Changing Room Assistant.




Funny. Kiasuism is actually internationally roaming now! ;)
